'Survivor: Legends' Dream Cast - Revealed

August 03 , 2015

We polled over 250 Survivor fans to find out who they believe should return for a 'Survivor: Legends' Season.

Those taking the  poll were required to select the ten male castaways and ten female castaways that they consider to be "legends" and who they would like to see return..

We have collected those results and you can see the twenty castaways that were selected below.

The Women:

Sandra Diaz-Twine

(58.82%)

'Survivor: Pearl Islands' &

'Survivor: Heroes Vs Villains'

Not only has Sandra the only person ever to win Survivor twice, she also received a higher percentage of votes than any other Survivor castaway in this poll

Gets more popular with time, and was an absolute shoe-in for this list...

Parvati Shallow

(49.02%)

'Survivor: Cook Islands',

'Survivor: Micronesia' &

'Survivor: Heroes Vs Villains'

She won in Micronesia, she came close (after putting on an absolute Survivor masterclass) in Heroes Vs. Villains and she was an absolute shoe-in for the 'Survivor: Legends' dream-cast receiving votes from nearly half of everyone that casted them.

Cirie Fields

(43.14%)

'Survivor: Panama'

'Survivor: Micronesia' &

'Survivor: Heroes Vs Villains'

First won viewers hearst with her massive journey and transformation in Panama, played a flawless game in Micronesia (only to be robbed by a "surprise top two"), we were unfortunately robbed of seeing much of Cirie in "Heroes Vs. Villains" due to her being seen as a threat.

Would love to see Ms Fields have one last shot at the game, and CLEARLY I am not along in that...

Stephenie LaGrossa

(43.14%)

'Survivor: Palau',

'Survivor: Guatemala' &

'Survivor: Heroes Vs Villains'

The first surprise on this list for me. Not overly loved in the online Survivor community it seems the casual fan vote was enough to see Survivor's one time sweetheart receive 43.14% of the vote and make her way in to the Survivor: Legends Dream-Cast.

After endearing fans to her when she was the "last woman standing" of her tribe in Palau, an unpopular outing in Guatemala and a less than stellar performance in Heroes Vs. Villains still didn't prevent Ms LaGrossa making this cast.

Jerri Manthey

(41.18%)

'Survivor: Australian Outback',

'Survivor: All Stars' &

'Survivor: Heroes Vs Villains'

The first person on this list to have featured in both 'All Stars' and 'Heroes Vs Villains'. Overcame a performance in the former that saw her booed of the stage to play a very solid game in Heroe's Vs Villains that saw the original "villainess" redeem herself amongst Survivor fans.

Kathy Vavrick O'Brien

(41.18%)

'Survivor: Marquesas',

'Survivor: All Stars'

One of my personal favourites on this list. Was an absolute breath of fresh air during 'Marquesas' and I know I wasn't alone in rooting for her to win the whole season.

A disappointing outing in All-Stars, that saw real life relationships affected and questioned.

Would love to see how she would fair in the modern game of Survivor.

Kim Spradlin

(41.18%)

'Survivor: One World'

The first one time player and third winner on this list.

Kim played an absolutely perfect game on One World and there's many people that would love to see if she could win again.

As good a Survivor player as there has ever been (it would be nice to see her play with better players around her).

Teresa Cooper

(27.45%)

'Survivor: Africa',

Despite missing out on second chance in 'Survivor: Cambodia', Survivor fans still haven't given up on seeing Africa's T-Bird have another go at playing Survivor.

Time to bring her back!

Eliza Orlins

(23.53%)

'Survivor: Vanuatu',

'Survivor: Micronesia'

Great to see Survivor: Vanuatu get some love on this list (though it is the third female castaway from Micronesia). The outspoken, strong and always entertaining Eliza Orlins joins your dream-cast for 'Survivor: Legends'.

Colleen Haskell

(23.23%)

'Survivor: Borneo'

We head all the way back to Season one to round out our female cast members.

Although she has stated multiple times that she has "moved on" fans would still love to see Survivor's original "sweetheart" return for a Legends season.

Who missed the cut?

The following female Survivor castaways were unlucky to miss out on the top 10 and make it on to the AFSS 'Survivor: Legends' Dream Cast.

  • Amanda Kimmell (China, Micronesia, Heroes Vs. Villains) 21.57%

  • Denise Stapley (Philippines) 20.03%

The Men:

Rob Cesternino

(50%)

'Survivor: Amazon'

'Survivor: All Stars'

Revolutionized the game of Survivor in the Amazon, but was unfortunately not awarded with a victory. The "greatest Survivor contestant never to have won" rightfully takes his spot amongst the 'Survivor: Legends' dream cast.

Richard Hatch

(45.45%)

'Survivor: Borneo'

'Survivor: All Stars'

Legal issues have perhaps robbed viewers of being able to see the "Grandaddy of them all" Richard Hatch return to Survivor since his underwhelming outing in 'All Stars', but it would be fascinating to see how Richard would fair in the modern game. You can't have a 'Survivor: Legends' cast without the first ever winner.

Shane Powers

(38.64%)

'Survivor: Panama"

It goes without saying that the majority of us are still devestated at not getting to see Shane return for 'Survivor: Cambodia'. Love him or hate him, fans have still not given up seeing Shane return and he has taken his place here on the Survivor: Legends list.

Tony Vlachos

(38.64%)

'Survivor: Cagayan'

Our most recent castaway on this 'Legends' list, Tony put on a highly entertaining show in Cagayan that kept the audience and his castmates guessing. A highly regarded winner from a highly regarded season. And in the eyes of many, already a 'Survivor: Legend'.

Lex van den Berghe

(31.82%)

'Survivor: Africa',

'Survivor: All Stars'.

One of my personal favourites, in my opinion the only issue with Lex was that he was before his time. A true strategist and underrated physical player I think Lex would adapt perfectly to modern-day Survivor. A true legend of the show. Would love to see him and his famous "gut" make a return.

Ian Rosenberger

(29.55%)

'Survivor: Palau'

Ian may have moved on from Survivor but his fans sure haven't forgotten about him. Ian was guilted into letting Tom win the final immunity challenge and the audience were robbed of a chance for what would have been the greatest final 2 show down ever.

A physical, social and strategic threat Ian is the one contestant that I would love to see return more than any other.

And I'm stoked to see him voted as a 'Survivor: Legend' by other fans.

Colby Donaldson

(27.27%)

'Survivor: Australian Outback'

'Survivor: All Stars'

'Survivor: Heroes Vs Villains'.

I was probably more surprised than I should've been to see Colby make this list. Our first (and only) male three time player to make this list, it seems that despite his disinterest in HvV, there is no denying Colby's legendary status in the game of Survivor. If you were to ask any casual fan of the game to name a castaway from the early days of Survivor, 9/10 I imagine would say Colby.

Jon "Jonny Fairplay" Dalton

(27.27%)

'Survivor: Pearl Islands'

'Survivor: Micronesia'

Every season needs a villain, and why not go straight to the top for the ultimate Survivor "villain" the always entertaining and polarizing Jonny Fairplay.

Left disappointingly early in Micronesia, but perhaps a different headspace would see Fairplay fair well in a Legends season.

Todd Herzog

(27.27%)

'Survivor: China'

Despite publicised personal issues Todd remains a 'Survivor Legend' in many fans eyes. Our third and final male winner to make this list absolutely nailed it in China and I personally would love to see him again on our Survivor screens.

John Carroll

(27.27%)

'Survivor: Marquesas'

I'm going to admit I am not the biggest 'Marquesas' fan, but I am thrilled that the two people from that season to make this list are so highly deserving. Off to a huge start as leader of the Rotu Four, John was ousted after those outside the alliance decided to shake things up in epic fashion. Years later it would be great to see how an older, wiser John would fair amongst other "Survivor: Legends'
